Sobre Mi

Year 83, few years of real commercial activity. The Italian Institute of Photography, Astuni’s gallery (in Bologna), a reportage for the University of Bologna, and the residual consciousness from a geographical background. In my biography I would avoid to mention prizes and competitions but I would focus only on the reason of why I express my self through these photographies. Who is interested can ask directly. The photography for me is a natural catharsis, a sociological approach, and a phisolophical identification (through empathy). The research must be constant, precise and dreamy, the approach must be clear in its development and never totally defined. What I search for, are the roots and not the reason of these. For the rest you can just browse. The eternal debate is not about whom, where, how and why but the collision between “Kronos and Aion” on when. If you can hold the time you could master the universe and with the photography we always try to get closer to the unreachable point of time. If it’s a master or a flash the important thing is to be always there, experience the photography in order to share that unique moment. The only essential constant is travelling, the research for your other side elsewhere, the unfathomable human imperfection The stories of strangers and of earth’s shape. Movement is life, and this is in contrast with the photography which is stagnation, but in harmony with the human being who is instead capable of being both sides using the mind and imagination to discover the inner reality relished. The thought is the most beautiful and best of all streams.
